This premiere performance retells the dramatic tale of Diego de la Vega, the mysterious man behind the mask fighting to restore order in Spanish colonial California. Featuring spectacular sword-fighting, flamenco dance and dazzling magic – enhanced by the red-hot music of the Gipsy Kings. While the tale is set in 19th century California, the important influence of Latin and Spanish culture guarantees that its message remains relevant to today’s audiences. Tickets are $20. Mabel and Lenny, the comic duo who made Aesop’s Fables such a roaring success, are determined to reenact these two classic fairy tales, undertaking almost a dozen roles. Ground Hog Day Celebration, The Watershed Institute, 31 Titus Mill Rd, Pennington. Join Watershed Wally the Woodchuck as we celebrate winter and look forward to the return of spring. Learn all about groundhogs, enjoy a hike to a groundhog burrow, and play a hibernation game. We'll then have a chance to chuck a small piece of wood with a catapult or trebuchet. Warm up later by our campfire and enjoy some treats on this festive winter morning. $5
